Whether you are a long-established Christian, a new believer, or someone just checking us out, we believe First Free can be a church home for you – a place to belong and a place to grow!
We're here to help guide people into becoming healthy followers of Jesus Christ. On Sunday morning, we have a variety of programs for all ages designed toward that end.
Sunday Service Times
Bible Fellowship Hour— 9:30 a.m.
Worship Service—10:45 a.m.
What To Expect
Smiles. Warm welcomes. People of all ages. Dynamic worship. Life-inspiring teaching. Safe and creative children & student programs. Opportunities to grow.
We are a “come as you like” church - we believe that God cares about the inner person more than what you wear. We encourage modest attire so that our clothes don't distract from the reverent worship of God. Our Welcome Center in the main lobby can answer your questions and help you find your way around our building.
Current Bible Fellowship Schedule (9:30 a.m.)
Our Bible hour on Sundays mornings begins at 9:30 a.m. with a group or class for every age meeting throughout our campus. All are welcome. Join any time. Need directions? Ask a greeter! Here is our current fall schedule:
Salt Life: Adult Bible Fellowship
Leader: Rob Gibala
Location: Fireplace Room
Fall Study: “A Life Beyond Amazing” video series by Dr. David Jeremiah
Salt Life is about lifestyle. Not that laidback, sand-in-your-toes kind of lifestyle, but the lifestyle Christ followers need to be light in a dark world. These are challenging times and relationships can be hard – but the truth of God’s Word is powerful in every situation. Using Bible teaching series by well-known contemporary teachers, the personal testimonies of group members and participation in local and international missionary support projects, Salt Life ABF helps equip attendees to lovingly engage their families and their community with the truth of the Gospel. You don’t have to be a beach bum or like seaside vacations, but if want to live the truth of Matthew 5:13, try the Salt Life.
Ambassadors: Adult Bible Fellowship
Leader: Pastor Kirk Albrecht
Fall Study: Songs for Life: Explorations in the Psalms
An ambassador represents his country with love, devotion and dedication. As servants of the great King Jesus, we seek to grow to be more like him so we can be faithful witnesses of his eternal Kingdom. Ambassadors ABF will help you on your journey through solid Bible teaching, fellowship, fun, and a sense of purpose in your Christian life. Expect growth!
Prime Time: Adult Bible Fellowship
Leader: Daniel Zajdel
Location: Adult Learning Center
Fall Study: The Book of Romans
Perhaps no single book ever written has had the spiritual impact as the Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Romans. It has been called "The Cathedral of the Christian Faith". This fall, we will review the first 11 chapters covered last year in order to refresh our memories, as well as bring new class members up to date before moving on. Prime Time is your place for in-depth Bible teaching and discussion. Prepare to gain key knowledge to help you grow as a believer!
For Students (Grades 6-12): Breakfast Bible Bunch
Students can join Pastor Alex and members of our student ministry team in the Upper Room for a light breakfast and time together in prayer and God's Word. All are welcome. Join any time. Need directions? Ask a greeter!

We provide age-appropriate levels of learning for children, age 2 – Grade 5 using Gospel Project for Kids and emphasizing what it means to follow Jesus.
For Children (through 23 months): Nursery
We offer a safe, fun nursery for children younger than 2-years-old.
Sunday Morning Worship Service (10:45 a.m.)
Our worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. in our auditorium. We sing the best of modern praise songs and classic Christian hymns, led by our praise band. Sometimes our choir sings. One of our pastors will deliver a message from the Bible that applies to your life so we can all experience some of God’s transforming power.
We provide a junior church experience for children, age 2 – Grade 5 that includes songs, Bible lessons, activities, and crafts using Gospel Project for Kids with an emphasis on being a worshipper. We also offer a safe, fun nursery for children through 23 months of age.
We offer deaf interpretation at our Sunday Worship Service at 10:45 a.m.
We desire to expand our reach to the deaf and hearing impaired so if you know someone who might like to visit, or attend a special event, please see our church calendar for the schedule. If you are interested in serving with this important ministry, we offer classes to train volunteers to help with the worship services. Please contact the church office, 412-678-6655, for more information.
