Basic Church History: From the Council of Nicaea through the Middle Ages
Join us as we delve into the pivotal events, influential figures, and theological developments that shaped the early church and carried it through the Middle Ages.
We will explore significant milestones, such as the Council of Nicaea, the rise of monasticism, and the impact of the Great Schism of 1054. We'll also note the lives and contributions of significant figures like Athanasius of Alexandria (c. 296–373), Augustine of Hippo (354–430), Gregory the Great (c. 540–604), Charlemagne (c. 747–814), Thomas Aquinas (1225–1274), and more. In all things, we will shape our understanding from the teaching of scripture.
This journey through history will provide valuable insights into our faith's roots and the enduring legacy of Christianity and the Church and serve as a catalyst for personal growth. Come and enrich your understanding of our shared history and deepen your faith.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit
Our Salt Live ABF is excited to continue our journey together in the Fruit of the Spirit series led by Joel Rishel. Our study material is based on the series "Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit" by Christopher J.H. Wright, produced by Langham Partnership. This enriching series is presented in DVD format and offers profound insights into godly character growth.
Following this series, we will begin Chip Ingram's new and transformative 12-week study, "True Spirituality: Becoming a Romans 12 Christian." We will present this series through DVDs.
Our teaching team, including Dave Abel, Joel Rishel, and Terry Judy, will provide diverse perspectives.
Join us as we grow in our faith, encourage one another, and deepen our understanding of living a Spirit-filled life.

The Second Epistle of Paul to Timothy
The Second Epistle of Paul to Timothy
Second Timothy is the Apostle Paul's farewell letter before his impending death. That alone makes it particularly special as he provides thoughtful words of encouragement for Timothy, for believers in the church at Ephesus, and believers throughout the church age. Just as Paul knew whom he believed, he desired that all believers would continue in what they learned through the Scriptures, which led to their salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
Join us as we finish out the spring.
