Jesus is Greater: The Book of Hebrews
June 7 through August 30, 2026
The book of Hebrews was written to people who were tempted to settle for less than Christ. In that way, it was also written for us. It reveals and reminds us of Jesus' all-surpassing greatness. This summer we'll work carefully through one of the most theologically rich books in the Bible, because knowing who Jesus truly is changes everything about how we live, love, and hold on.

Three different class options, beginning Sunday, September 13!
1. "How Should We Then Live?" (Romans, Part Two)
This fall, our adult Sunday School class turns to the back half of Paul's letter to the Romans: chapters 12–16.
Starting Sunday, September 13, we'll meet each week from 9:30–10:30 AM in the Gymnasium to see how the doctrine Paul spent eleven chapters building actually plays out in ordinary life — in the church, in the world, and in our own relationships. If Romans 1–11 answers the question "what has God done," Romans 12–16 answers the question "so what does that mean for how I live."
If you weren't part of the first half of this study, please don't let that keep you away. You do not need to have attended Romans 1–11 to follow or benefit from this half. We'll give enough context along the way that newcomers won't be lost, and honestly, chapters 12–16 stand well enough on their own that you'll get plenty out of it either way.

2. The Book of Luke [Beginning with a review of Chapters 1-15, then continuing the study with Chapter 16]
The Gospel of Luke offers a trustworthy, Spirit-inspired account of the good news of Jesus Christ—His life, ministry, and mission “to seek and to save the lost.” It was written by the only Gentile New Testament author and for the purpose of giving assurance to a fairly young Gentile convert. As a narrative, it affirms that salvation is attainable through Christ.
Though originally addressed to a man named Theophilus nearly two thousand years ago, this gospel has strengthened the faith of countless believers ever since. Its purpose remains the same today: to give us confidence in the truth of Christ and deepen our trust in His grace.
As we journey through this third gospel together, may we, like Theophilus—whose name means “lover of God”—grow in love for the Lord and in faith in His Son.

Students can join Pastor Alex and members of our student ministry team in the Upper Room for Bible Breakfast Bunch—a light breakfast and time together in prayer and God's Word from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. All are welcome. Join at any time. Questions? Please contact Pastor Alex Ielase.

First Free Kids (Toddler - Grade 5)
We provide age-appropriate learning for children from toddlers to Grade 5, using the Gospel Project for Kids and emphasizing what it means to follow Jesus. Check in at the First Free Kids Welcome Table in the Main Lobby. (Time: 9:30 - 10:30 am).
