Welcome!

My name is Kevin, and I serve as First Free's Lead Pastor. Alongside a warm, energetic ministry team, it's my privilege to welcome you to our site and connect you to our growing church family. We're so glad you're here.

First Free is a 141-year-old congregation of the Evangelical Free Church of America. And so, in one sense, First Free is an old church. After all, when we started in 1882, Chester Arthur was President of the United States. That's a long time ago!

However, in another sense, those calling First Free home know God's call and blessing to keep pace with the times, generation to generation. Although blessed with a beautiful and rich history, we're building upon it, not bound by it. We're about ministering God's timeless truth in timely ways.

With that in mind, we recently launched a multi-year vision campaign called "Changed Lives." This commitment involves welcoming more people, helping individuals and families grow spiritually, equipping next-generation leaders, investing 1.4 million toward a facility renovation, expanding our multimedia ministry, deepening our reach into surrounding communities, and revitalizing our global partnerships.

All that is to say, we sense God's leading to pursue great things for Him together. We invite you to explore becoming part of what God's doing in and through First Free.
