Whether you are a long-established Christian, a new believer, or someone just checking us out, we believe First Free can be a church home for you – a place to belong and a place to grow!
We offer something for the whole family on almost every Wednesday evening, September - May (6:30 - 8:00 p.m.). View our upcoming event calendar here.
Wednesdays for Adults
We offer several adult small groups on Wednesday nights. Join any time! We're currently on a break and finalizing our plans for the 2021-2022 ministry year. We'll post complete information soon! Questions? Contact Pastor Kirk Albrecht.
Wednesdays for Students (Grades 6-12)
Meet us in the Upper Room or gymnasium for time in the Bible, games, snacks, and fun with friends. We believe in creating a loving atmosphere in our group where Jesus is central and no one is excluded. We also participate in regular service projects, attend special concerts and events, summer missions trips and seasonal retreats. Any student who attends will find a blend of fun and opportunity for growth. Questions? Contact Pastor Alex Ielase.
Wednesdays for Children (through Grade 5)
Your child will love Awana, our Wednesday night ministry for children. We are curretnly on a summer break, but will start again in September. Awana is a Bible-based program that helps children learn about God and His plan for their lives. We use Bible teaching, encourage Bible memorization, and arrange games that build confidence and foster teamwork. Children meet according to age in three groups:
- Cubbies (Ages 3 – 5)
- Sparks (Grades K – 2)
- Truth & Training (Grades 3 – 5)
For younger children, we offer a safe, fun nursery. For directions to Awana or our nursery, talk with one of our greeters! Questions? Contact Pastor Joel Rishel.
