If you visited First Free for the first time (or the first time in a long time) yesterday, Easter Sunday, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to you! Your presence was truly a blessing, and we're so glad you chose to spend Easter with us.

I hope you enjoyed starting our service by singing the classic Easter hymn, "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today." I love that hymn. Written by Charles Wesley, one of the founders of the Methodist Church movement, it's a song enjoyed on Easter Sunday by Christians worldwide, regardless of their denomination. It's become something of a tradition around here.

One of the unique aspects of First Free Church is our ability to blend tradition with innovation. This was evident in our Easter service, where the timeless hymns, like the one written by Charles Wesley, harmoniously coexisted with newer, resurrection-themed songs. Nick Barilla (our Worship Leader), choir leaders, instrumentalists, vocalists, and Tech Team members all played a pivotal role in creating a beautiful, Christ-exalting worship service. It was a service to remember!

And what about those baptisms? All seven of them! Seeing younger children and high school and university students baptized, each professing their sincere faith in our resurrected Savior, was a powerful testimony. It may have made you remember your baptism or prompted you to consider talking with one of our pastors about being baptized.

I hope you connected with a member of our Welcome Team on Sunday and dropped by the Welcome Desk before or after the service. If not, no worries. You can always connect with them online by completing our Connect Card here.

We have a lot of great things coming up at First Free - a Women's Ministry spring kick-off event and our annual Men's Retreat at Laurelville Retreat Center, to name just two. We'd love for you to join us for them!

With that in mind, follow us on social media (facebook.com/myfefc and instagram.com/myfefc) and subscribe to our YouTube channel (youtube.com/myfefc). Finally, be sure to bookmark our church website (myfefc.org). It includes ministry information and a continuously updated events calendar.

As always, don't hesitate to contact another team member or me if you have questions. We're here for you!

Have a wonderful week! He's risen! See you again soon!
