We plan to hold Christmas Fest on Friday evening, December 13, 2024. This is not just an event but a joyous celebration that brings our community together. And although that is several months away, we're ready to start the planning conversations with those interested in helping us offer this excellent Christ-centered, community-oriented event.
Toward that end, we invite all interested volunteers and potential volunteer ministry area leaders to a brief luncheon on Sunday, June 2, after worship in the Fireplace Room. Your contribution is crucial in making this year's Christmas Fest a success. Over a light meal and warm fellowship, we'll share ideas for this year's ministry and begin the planning conversations. If you're interested in helping make Christmas Fest happen, we'd love for you to join us.
We've previously offered varied attractions and service opportunities as part of Christmas Fest:
- Outdoor snacks and fireside fellowship
- Beautiful luminaries lining our property
- Nativity animal petting zoo
- Children's creative play, carnival games, and craft areas
- Christmas carols and singing
- Puppet show and sing-a-long
- Christmas photo booth
- And, of course, a live nativity!
We have yet to determine the exact form Christmas Fest will take this year, but we'd love to pray and work through the plans with you.
