First Free Church offers child dedication as an opportunity for parents to publicly dedicate their children to God and commit to raising them in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4).

You might wonder what happens during a child dedication at First Free Church. In short, it's a simple yet significant event during one of our scheduled worship services.

We invite parents and their children to join our pastors on the platform for a few moments during the service. After brief introductions and encouragements from scripture, our pastors ask parents to confirm their commitment to raising their children in the Lord. The pastors then offer a prayer of dedication for the child, family, and our broader church family as we come together for God's glory and the good of the children He entrusts to our care.
