Serve Saturday

If you've registered or would like to register for Serve Saturday, here is the information you need!

Thank you for joining us for Serve Saturday, September 24th, starting at 8:00 am! We have three teams scheduled for three kinds of work. 

City Team

This team will spend the day completing scheduled home repairs at one of our McKeesport neighbor's homes under the direction of Dave Abel and in partnership with Rebuild Together Pittsburgh (RTP). Time: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. 

Church Team

Under the direction of Joe Squires and Brian Matthews, this team will complete much-needed projects around the building and grounds of First Free Church. Time: 8:30 am - work completion.

Community Team

This team will perform yardwork and helpful projects at the homes of members and friends of First Free Church under the direction of Pastor Alex Ielase and Michael Sapelli. Time: 8:30 am - work completion. 

Details

Please eat breakfast beforehand and plan to meet at the church gymnasium by 8:00 am on Saturday, September 24th, for prayer. Then, we will board vans to our separate worksites at 8:20 am (unless working at the church). 

Wear work clothes. We will have activity participation forms for you to complete on the morning of our gathering. 

In addition, we will provide you with a team t-shirt (please wear it!), a delicious lunch, cold beverages, and all the necessary work supplies and tools.
