Day of Prayer and Fasting

Dear First Free Church Members and Friends,

With recent events in our church and community, we will observe a day of prayer and fasting on Thursday, February 23, ahead of our General Assembly meeting on Sunday, February 26.

We encourage all members and friends of First Free to devote significant time during that day in prayer, seeking God's gracious will for our members and friends, the peace and prosperity of our church family, the City of McKeesport, and all of our surrounding communities. By confessing our sins to God and one another, seeking forgiveness through the power of the gospel, and renewing our repentance in humble dependence upon the Lord, we know that God will promote healing as we call upon His Name.

The auditorium will open at 9:00 am for those desiring to pray at the church throughout the day, either individually or in small groups. We will conclude with an intimate prayer service featuring songs of praise and communion at 7:00 pm.
