Purpose
Children’s Ministries at First Free exists to provide a safe, Christ-centered environment where children can grow to know the True and Living God and His purpose for their lives. We provide ministry for children from birth through the fifth grade.

Nursery
Sundays, 9 AM - Noon
Wednesdays, 7 PM - 8:30 PM
Our church nursery provides safe and loving childcare for children (Birth – 23 months).
It is our hope that you will find freedom to worship and participate in the services of the church with the knowledge that your child is cared for by competent attendants who love children. Our goal is to create a safe and healthy environment for your child as we support you as your child's primary spiritual leader.
Preschool (Age 2 - Pre-K)

Rainbow Room
Two and three year olds enjoy learning about God’s promises in our Rainbow Room. A short Bible lesson, crafts, free playtime, and songs are just some of the fun activities the children will enjoy.
Jungle Room
Four and Five year olds (Pre-K) meet in our Jungle Room where Jesus is not only King of the Jungle, but King of all kings. Children learn about God through Bible lessons, crafts, games and other engaging activities.
Elementary

Treasure Cove — K-Grade 1
Our Kindergarten/First Grade Department is located on the lower level of CM wing. It is a place where children are encouraged to grow up to be like Jesus.
FBI Headquarters — Grades 2-3
Our Second and Third Grade Department is located on the lower level of CM wing. Our FBI (Full Bible Investigators) Headquarters is a place where kids are encouraged to dig into the Bible, God’s Holy Word to discover God’s purpose for their lives.
Stage 54 — Grades 4-5
Our Fourth and Fifth Grade Department is located in the Children’s Center on the upper level of the CM wing. Various activities and programs are offered with the goal of challenging our Pre-Teens to become true disciples of Jesus Christ.
AWANA
Sundays, 6 PM – 7:30 PM (Beginning Sept. 13)
Our AWANA program blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization and tons of fun. First Free AWANA Clubs meet on Sunday evenings, September - April. Trained and approved workers lead our AWANA clubbers in a variety of activities each week. We have three age-appropriate AWANA clubs.
Cubbies (Preschool)
AWANA is fun with a purpose — to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.
Sparks (K-Grade 2)
The AWANA club for children in kindergarten through second grade builds on the material taught in our preschool club. The aim of the curriculum is to take kids a step deeper into God’s Word while giving boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.
T&T — Truth and Training (Grades 3-5)
The name Truth & Training (T&T) reflects the passion of AWANA to teach third- through fifth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. T&T is the program that trains kids as they grow to be the leaders of tomorrow — today.
